Kim's Yellow Balloon is about a little girl named Kim who loves yellow. While visiting a park, Kim and her mom saw a man holding a lot of balloons, and the balloon that stood out the most was the yellow balloon-Kim's favorite color. But something happened, the balloon got away, and went on a journey, and everyone wanted it for themselves. After the journey, the yellow balloon came back to where it started in the park with Kim. About the Author (Description): Essie B. Johnson is married and has three adult children and grandchildren. She retired from teaching young children after more than thirty years and attended Atlanta Technical College, where she studied Visual Communications and Early Childhood Education. During the summer months, she works as an art instructor at Fulton County Art Camp, teaching children of various ages. She is also an artist who has won numerous awards from Georgia Artists with Disabilities. Essie enjoys writing imaginative stories for young children.
