One Lucky Fella, How the Measles Made Me a Pilot

My 21-year Air Force career began in an unexpected way-by dropping out of college and stepping into the unknown. Along the way, a mix of talent, perseverance, great mentors, a few lucky breaks, and even a chance occurrence of the measles helped shape my path as a pilot.

I'm sharing these stories for my children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, so they'll understand how it all began and the journey that followed.
