High School Chronicles: Megan's Story

Megan, a young ninth-grade student, faces racism daily at the hands of her classmate, Curtis Thomas. He bullies her because she's mixed. She is targeted daily by many bullies, including Latoya Gamble. Latoya doesn't like Megan because she holds the interest of her ex-boy friend, Corporal Maxwell. Megan is very aware of the black and white issues currently plaguing this country. She doesn't really fit in with anyone. She's not a troubled teen; although, there are many troubled teens around her. As she learns to navigate her difficult world, she is tasked with forgiving the most unforgivable of events.
