Inspired By Lutherans: A Story of How Missions Impacted the Lives of Zimbabwe's Forgotten Children w

You have been a baptised and confirmed member of your congregation for several years. Are you missing one of the most enlivening and fulfilling dimensions of the Christian Life? Rarely do you read such piously rendered honesty. Here's a compendium of cinematic, bouncy and inspiring mission stories good enough to read to the end of time to those whose dream is living a high-impact Christian life. What once seemed to be an accidental encounter suddenly becomes an irresistible mission force that defies all odds - health, economic, social and political - in reaching out to Zimbabwe's forgotten children dying of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Inspired by Lutherans is a tale of dramatic mission stories from the authors' hands-on compassionate experience. It's an insight you can't come to without having spent your considerable Christian life serving and interacting with people who are desperate for the most mundane acts of love to point them to Christ Jesus. Some of the portraits of missions that emerge in the stories are ominous, tender and harsh, but the brazen goal is to draw out creative and practical ways any new or weathered Christian can apply to their own faith while making an external difference in the lives of others.
