Mitigating the Legacies of a Mismanaged Vision: The Case of Liberia

IN MITIGATING THE LEGACIES OF A MISMANAGED VISION: THE CASE OF LIBERIA, William G. Nyanue painstakingly scours and lays bare the roots of Liberia's entrenched underdevelopment and other perennial problems. He describes the character of the nation, a unique brew of values and conventional wisdoms, as the fruit of the mismanagement of the country's lofty founding vision. He advocates a political leadership team of patriots with certain defined qualities to mitigate the legacies of the mismanaged vision. Mitigating the Legacies of a Mismanaged Vision: The Case of Liberia is searing, riveting, and thoroughly researched. I recommend it highly.
