Star Salted Place

The poems in Trew's second collection, Star Salted Place, express the interplay of female power and the power of nature, which connects and transforms our own cycles of birth, living and death.

Small winds blow everywhere over the land

small winds in flames, homeless

rise to their feet, run into a cloud

become restless in flight

voice of thunder over the rockpools

the moon's tidal rooms
