This book tells the stories of two Indigenous elders: Betty-Ann Bird and Elizabeth Halkett that highlights the importance of preserving our Indigenous languages and culture. Both these elders went through Indian Residential schools and understand the importance of reclaiming Indigenous language and culture that may have been lost through that time.
