Metaphysics versus Scientism: Star Trek, Star Wars, and the Science of Justice

George A. Gonzalez demonstrates that Georg Hegel (1770-1831) is the philosopher of the Enlightenment and of science. Analytic philosophers consider themselves philosophers of science. Gonzalez shows that Hegel philosophically grounds the Enlightenment, whereas the "science" of analytic philosophers (scientism) results in the anti-Enlightenment (genetic political reasoning).
