Design of Rijndael: AES - The Advanced Encryption Standard (2002)

AES/Rijndael (Advanced Encryption Standard) will replace the (former) Data Encryption Standard (DES) as the standard technology for digital data encryption worldwide. Anybody seriously interested in data encryption will have to learn about Rijndael, its security, software and hardware performance, resistance to cryptographic attack and power in implementation analysis and the underlying theory.
