Automated Diabetic Retinopathy Diagnosis Using Deep Learning

Diabetic retinopathy is one of the most common and serious complications of diabetes and a leading cause of preventable blindness worldwide. Early detection and timely treatment are essential to prevent vision loss; however, large-scale screening remains challenging due to the shortage of ophthalmologists and the subjective nature of manual diagnosis. This book addresses these challenges by exploring automated diagnostic approaches based on deep learning.
