Design Optimization of Multilevel Inverters for Voltage Regulation

This book deals with the designing and optimization of multilevel inverter systems that results in minimum harmonics and distortions. The designed system is suitable for voltage regulation and can be used in various reactive power compensation devices. Multilevel Inverters (MLIs) are highly recommended because of their prominent features. These include reduced harmonics, minimum switching losses, electromagnetic compatibility and good power quality etc. at medium voltage and high power. Here in this book, a MLI system has been designed which provides improved voltage profile and minimum THD. The designed system is also suitable for industrial appliances working on medium voltage with high power requirement.
