Educational resources of theater pedagogy in the practice of RCT teaching

This monograph examines the use of educational resources from the field of theatre pedagogy in the practice of teaching Russian as a foreign language. The authors introduce the concept of 'linguistic-theatrical teaching'-a communicative methodology based on techniques from the theatrical arts, aimed at developing foreign-language communicative competence.The first chapter presents a retrospective analysis of international and domestic experience in the use of theatre in education and language teaching. The second chapter is devoted to the psycholinguistic and neurophysiological aspects of adult learning, and examines the pedagogical characteristics of the linguo-theatrical approach.The third chapter describes in detail the organisation of the teaching process and presents the results of experimental Russian as a Foreign Language (RFL) teaching using linguo-theatrical techniques in groups of adult learners from Bulgaria, Italy and Spain, confirming the high effectiveness of the methodology in developing oral communication skills.This publication is intended for teachers of Russian as a foreign language, methodologists, and researchers in the fields of language teaching and theatre pedagogy.
