Performance analysis of biomass cookstove with insulation

An experimental and performance evaluation was carried out to select suitable insulating material for an advanced cook stove in order to improve its efficiency. Initially, the cook stove was analyzed based on its thermal efficiency, and heat loss tests revealed that more than 50% of the heat was lost during operation. To reduce these losses, various composite insulation preparation methods were studied, and an appropriate method was chosen to fabricate the composite materials. Different proportions of composite materials were then prepared and tested for thermal conductivity.
