Facing managerial challenges related to social and ecological issues, Cameroonian forestry companies have adopted a management approach based on high conservation values to provide a potential solution to these concerns. Using tools borrowed from the MARP, the aim was to identify the High Conservation Values (HCVs) within the forest area and propose management measures for them. All six HCV categories listed in the generic toolkit were identified. After mapping the six HCVs, management measures aimed at maintaining or improving their attributes were proposed. Recommendations were formulated for the various stakeholders involved in sustainable management to facilitate the implementation of the High Conservation Value approach.
