Voice of Space and Memory: V. Tadjo, E. Glissant, E. Maunick

Three poets, three spaces, three histories-as many ways of experiencing space and history, and thus three memories. Véronique Tadjo is from Côte d'Ivoire; she is from the mainland. Edouard Glissant, from Martinique, is an islander from the Caribbean. Edouard Maunick, also an islander, is from Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. The idea of bringing these three poets together in a single study stems from the observation that these authors give voice to space.
