Multiple sclerosis is an incurable, chronic disease of the central nervous system. Its primary cause remains unknown. Multiple sclerosis is characterised by an unpredictable course of the disease and a wide range of symptoms that vary greatly. These symptoms differ from person to person. Rehabilitation focuses on improving the physical and mental functioning and alleviating the symptoms of people with multiple sclerosis.
