Ethics of Spiritual Gifts for the Contemporary Church and Society

The gifts of the Holy Spirit are spiritual abilities given by God to humans which enable believers to function effectively in their areas of gifts and unique assignments. The book constitutes 40 spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit. However, some of the gifts are quite related in function and operation. It is very clear that without the gifts of the Holy Spirit, sincere service to God, humanity and the society may be difficult. Christians must seek to know their respective gifts, and also develop them, in order to be able to serve God with unprecedented grace and capacity in their ministries and areas of callings.The author is of the opinion that these gifts, when used as directed by the Holy Spirit, encourage, strengthen and motivate other believers into stronger, meaningful and useful living to God and humanity. As such, Christians must desire and also utilize these gifts for greater exploits to God's glory. A Church full of people with spiritual gifts is the most blessed!
