Bilingualism Benefits

This research-based book explored the bilingualism benefits and the beliefs of English teachers about bilingualism benefits. The literature was reviewed in terms of bilingualism benefits and it was categorized into themes. Then, the teachers' beliefs from interview data were analysed and concluded to match in 8 themes/ domains in the literature. Moreover, the literature about bilingualism, early bilingualism, emergent bilingualism, theories of bilingual language development, bilingual education, bilingual education in several non-native countries, research on bilingual education programs were added.
