Body image in children with albinism and academic performance

By 'self-image' we mean the totality of images, ideas and perceptions that an individual holds of themselves. This self-image cannot fail to have an effect on an albino child who is, on the one hand, just like everyone else, whilst on the other being perceived by their peers as something strange. In other words, on a psychocorporal level, the albino child is led to internalise and share the general values of the group-the most fundamental signifiers of the cultural and collective unconscious of the group to which they belong-at the very moment when they are perceived by everyone as being different. This led us to the following question: how does the albino child experience their body image, particularly in a school setting?
