This manuscript presents a comprehensive review of the applications of Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) in endodontics, emphasizing its role in improving diagnostic accuracy and treatment outcomes. CBCT provides three-dimensional imaging that overcomes the limitations of conventional two-dimensional radiography, enabling precise assessment of root canal morphology, detection of additional canals, and identification of complex anatomical variations. The book highlights the use of CBCT in the diagnosis of periapical lesions, root resorption, vertical root fractures, and pulp canal obliteration. It also discusses its importance in treatment planning, working length determination, and post-treatment evaluation. Special attention is given to the role of CBCT in guided endodontics, including both static and dynamic navigation techniques. Additionally, the manuscript reviews technical aspects such as field of view (FOV), resolution, radiation dose considerations, and common artifacts like beam hardening. Current guidelines and recommendations for the judicious use of CBCT in endodontic practice are also included.
