The subject area of expertise in "Vocational Pedagogy," covering Pre-vocational Education/Pedagogy, Vocational Education/Pedagogy, and Business Education, aims to provide students with an introduction and orientation. Possible uncertainties arise in the terminology of vocational orientation or career choice lessons and economics, as well as vocational pedagogy and business education. The pragmatic approach to differentiation from the author's perspective results in the subdivision of Pre-vocational Education and Vocational Education. Naturally, there are central terms that shape the discourse. The available specialist literature facilitates subject-specific communication. This vocational pedagogy deals with the classical influence in the German-speaking world. For the author, with his educational biography, it is a priority to address the field of vocational and business pedagogy as fundamental knowledge. Reference is made to the specialist literature and references. Basic knowledge/core knowledge/key knowledge of Pre-vocational Education and Vocational Education is considered essential for educational and vocational counseling.
