Açaí's appreciation on the global market

In the 21st century, with a milestone in 2015, açaí has gained prominence on the global market due to its nutritional properties and versatility in cooking and industry, giving it the status of a superfood, which has significantly increased its demand. We are investigating the socio-economic and environmental impacts of the appreciation of açaí on the global market for the açaí-producing municipalities of Pará, focusing on goal 8 of the SDGs, from the perspective of Sustainable Development.
