Assessing regional dynamics in Sub-Saharan Africa

Water is a vital ressource for human well-being. The current climate variability is impacting its availability through African countries and specially the sub-saharian regions. Asserting the effect of climate change on water is a crucial objective. This book draw water state within climate change regime, and its impacts on human activities on both sides: human and climate induced hazard on water availability. Thus, it has been demonstrated whether water stress is a current issue in Sub-Saharan countries, and is a combined result of climate change, human's activities, and the general dynamic occurring in African regions towards population growth, soils degradation and water pollution from agriculture, deforestation, and mining.
