Politics in Africa is a discussion of the Politics in Africa from a Political Economy approach. This approach provides the African Student and the general reader a clear understanding of the various problems that has bedevilled as political instability, economic backwardness and other underdevelopment problems that characterise African politics. The book offers such a student the opportunity to view and appreciate African political problems and challenges from a holistic perspective that takes into account the historical constellations and class contradictions especially the processes that characterize the production of material values as well as the patterns of ownership of the essential means of production and the accompanying social relations.
