To assess the quality of olive oils from the Bejaia region, 14 varieties were collected from three sites between December 2018 and January 2019. The maturity index shows that the Tabelout (6.21), Aeleh (5.88), and Takesrit (5.5) varieties are early-ripening, while Aimel (2.75) and Azeradj (2.81) are late-ripening. In the absence of physicochemical analyses, a literature review generally confirms compliance with standards.
