On the legal nature of citizen movements in the DR Congo

This study also serves as an advocacy and lobbying effort to amend Law No. 004/2001 of July 20, 2001, on general provisions applicable to nonprofit associations and public benefit organizations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.The book discusses the origins and sources of inspiration for citizens' movements around the world, from Africa to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, with a particular focus on their emergence, organization, operations, and certain actions that have impacted society.It provides legal analyses of citizen movements in the country and a comparative study of certain countries within the Romano-Germanic legal system regarding freedom of association, with the aim of resolving the issue of the legal nature of citizen movements in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
