Theology of Hope: Living in Light of Christ's Return

"Christian hope has always looked beyond the visible circumstances of the present toward the promises of God. The message of Scripture leads believers from the resurrection of Christ to the resurrection of His people, from the reality of judgment to the defeat of evil, and from the brokenness of creation to the promise of its renewal. Dr. Venkat Potana presents these themes with a pastoral concern that seeks to connect biblical hope with faithful Christian living. His work reminds readers that the future promised by God is never merely a subject for speculation, but a foundation for courage, holiness, perseverance, worship, and mission.
The strength of this work lies in its effort to bring the great promises of Scripture into the life of the ordinary believer. The return of Christ becomes a reason for faithfulness, the resurrection becomes a source of courage, the defeat of evil becomes an assurance of divine justice, and the new creation becomes a vision of God's presence with His people. These truths speak to people who live with uncertainty, grief, injustice, suffering, and questions about the future. May these pages strengthen the faith of those who read them and lead them to live with confidence in the God who holds history, redemption, and eternity in His hands."
