Skin: Trust nobody... not even yourself

SKIN is the new novel by Fernando Gamboa, the best-selling independent author in the world, who this time brings us an impressive police thriller starring agent Nuria Badal.

An absorbing noir novel that you won't be able to put down until you reach its unexpected ending. A dark mystery in which, alongside Nuria, you will delve into the most hidden places of your own conscience, even doubting yourself, probing beneath the skin of appearances until revealing the astonishing reality.

In a Barcelona plagued by an unusual wave of winter cold, agent Badal discovers the corpse of a horribly murdered banker, but this will only be the first in a series of crimes as atrocious as they are inexplicable. Crimes that will push the entire city to the brink of chaos in an uncontrollable spiral of civil violence.

Nothing seems to make sense in this case for the baffled police force, incapable not only of catching the killer but even of simply finding a rational explanation for what is happening. Nuria, however, true to her rebellious and stubborn nature, will risk everything to uncover the truth, even at the cost of her career, her life, and even her soul.

A dangerous gamble that will cost her much more than she could ever have imagined.

Discover what lies beneath your own SKIN.

Author's note:

SKIN is an independent work, but it also serves as a prequel to REDEMPTION, the bestseller with more than 250,000 copies sold worldwide.
