The catalog of the exhibition held in Florence from the 25th of February to the 31st of May 2020 is focused on the Tuscan painter Giovanni Domenico Ferretti (1692-1768) and his works inspired by the masks of the "commedia dell'arte". Ferretti, author of many frescoes, portraits, and engravings, was famous for his paintings of playful nature, often requested by exponents of the Sienese and Florentine aristocracy.
