At twenty-six, Akshay Modak had a computer engineering degree, a management degree from one of the finest B-schools in India, and a high-paying corporate job at an MNC bank. On the surface, he'd figured it all out. Living the dream life. But an undercurrent of stagnation painted a more honest portrait of the truth.

He didn't identify with the life he'd created. Who am I? What am I doing with my life? And why?

The questions stirred his subconscious. It brought up his most cherished, unrequited love affair: his boyhood dream of becoming a professional footballer. The Universe validated it and presented him with an ephemeral football opportunity. A risky opportunity, but one he had to explore. A journey of becoming. A journey of unbecoming.
