Atlantis hangs above the abyss on pillars of stone and calibrated light, a city of law, ritual, and colossal engineering where every failure is recorded, explained, and buried. When structural calibration apprentice Lacian Viseran witnesses a cold white light rising from beneath the sea-and then finds a gap in the city's own physical readings that should be impossible-he makes the one mistake Atlantis cannot forgive: he keeps the record.
What begins as an anomaly becomes a descent into the machinery beneath the city: sealed shafts, erased data, classified accidents, and a system that seems to rewrite its own laws in order to survive. In the Harbor District, people whisper of those returning from the sea. In the White Witness chambers, others are beginning to ask a more dangerous question: when the dead come back, what exactly has returned?
As Lacian is pulled between the harbor that made him and the radiant order above it, every answer leads deeper into a structure built on omission, sacrifice, and sanctioned forgetting.
