Rooms Within

Shruti S. Tyagi studied at Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, New Delhi and proceeded to study English Literature at Miranda House, University of Delhi. She then went on to study in Switzerland, England and Austria, gaining a wider experience and a deeper appreciation for the homeland, India. Shruti is a keen poet who explores the themes of memory, grief, resilience, longing, wonder and the notion of the self. The Rooms Within is an invitation to wander through emotional and imaginative spaces where every poem opens doors into loss, love, madness, clarity, death, hope, isolation and belonging. The reader is requested to linger and reflect as they step into each "room".
