Rambam: The Story of Rabbi Moshe ben Maimon

The Rambam is famed as one of the greatest masters of the Torah of all eras. His monumental code of Jewish law, the Mishnah Torah, is as relevant today as it was when he wrote it almost nine hundred years ago. And he is famed for his other works as well: The Guide for the Perplexed, the Commentary on the Mishnah, and others.
The Rambam was not only a master of the Torah but a man filled with the greatest love and compassion for all Jews, a man who risked his life on many occasions for their sake.
His life was filled with challenges, adventures, and extraordinary achievements. This book aims to give a living picture of that man.
More than fifty books were used as source material in the writing of this book, including works on many aspects of the background of the Rambam's time. Thus, this book offers a richly-textured portrayal of the political and cultural times that the Rambam lived in, amidst many vivid details of daily life.
