My Backpack is a heartfelt story about Sumi the elephant learning to be proud of where they come from. With the love and support of their family, Sumi discovers that their culture is a beautiful part of who they are. My Backpack is written by Sheyan Gunapala, Director and Psychologist at Ascension Psychology, a private practice that works with culturally diverse individuals.
