The first hint that my work on content monetisation was only just starting was a meeting with Dr Abiodun Adeniyi, a professor of Mass Communication at Baze University, Abuja. After reading the manuscript, he invited me to his office. As he scanned the script again on his laptop while we chatted, he said something that stuck with me: I won't be surprised if you produced a sequel sooner than later. I wasn't sure what he was talking about. But this workbook has vindicated him. The main book was received with extraordinary enthusiasm, and I started this sequel two months after Writing for Media and Monetising It. It's a natural companion. If you felt the need for a deeper dive into subjects such as Style, AI, Tool-kit, use case or Money, this how book meets that need. I have not only addressed the how issue in this book, but I have also provided more examples and exercises for your benefit. The look-and-feel of the inside pages is also more compelling, with more graphics for easier use and engagement. If this workbook creates an appetite in the reader for the main book, it might be worth the bargain to indulge that temptation, especially on a subject so vital to our life, work and play today.
