Nutty Putty: The Final 27 Hours of John Jones

On November 24, 2009, John Edward Jones entered Utah's Nutty Putty Cave and never came back out.

What began as a holiday caving trip became a desperate twenty-seven-hour rescue inside one of the most unforgiving cave systems in America.

NUTTY PUTTY: The Final 27 Hours of John Jones reconstructs the tragedy through rescue reports, firsthand accounts, contemporary coverage, and the testimony of those who were there. It follows the race against time, the engineering challenges, the rescuers who crawled into impossible spaces, and the devastating limits of what even the most determined rescue effort could overcome.

A gripping true story of courage, hope, endurance, and loss beneath the earth.
