Ra: The Manifest Aspect of Amen

Preface
This book is written to explore Ra as the manifest form of divine reality, the active face of the hidden power known as Amen or Amun. In Kemetic thought, hiddenness is not emptiness; it is the depth from which form, breath, and radiance emerge. Ra is the visible sun, but also the principle by which creation is disclosed, sustained, and ordered. The movement from Khepera to Ra is the movement from becoming to manifestation. Khepera represents the rising or morning sun and, by extension, creation and renewal; Ra represents the bright, governing presence of solar life. This manuscript treats that movement as both cosmology and metaphysics: a map of the universe and a map of the soul.
