Toast & Fluffy and the Lavender Labyrinth

Ethan wants a shortcut. A labyrinth does not have one.

When Professor Wobble's magical Atlas falls open to a brand new page, Ethan, his sleepy pug Toast, and Fluffy (one very small, very fluffy, very food-obsessed dwarf hamster who has once again appointed himself team mastermind) tumble straight into a giant spiral of purple flowers. It is the Lavender Labyrinth, a real Michigan farm with a hundred and fifty kinds of herbs and exactly one long, winding path to the middle and back. Fluffy takes one look and declares it the world's biggest free salad bar.

There is just one problem. A labyrinth has no shortcuts, and Ethan's busy brain wants nothing else. With his friend Lina (the only other kid who can hear the animals talk), one very cross hummingbird, and a whole cloud of extremely busy bees, Ethan has to follow Professor Wobble's path all the way through, keep one hungry hamster away from the exhibits, and work out the last and hardest step of all. The way home will not open until the loudest thing in the whole garden finally goes quiet, and that turns out to be him.
