Teddy packed one gumboot, six raisins, and no toothbrush. Then he set off around the North Island with Benjamin, Mum, Dad, and Charlie.

Along the way, he meets noisy boats, black sand, bubbling mud, glowworm "bum-lights," runaway jandals, and one very bold seagull. Benjamin tries to keep everything sensible, but travelling with Teddy is never quite that simple.

By the time they arrive home, Teddy's pockets are full, Benjamin's satchel is mysteriously round, and bits of the North Island seem to have followed them everywhere.

A warm and wonderfully silly celebration of family adventures, curious little minds, and the treasures children bring home.

Oops! Teddy may have packed a little too much.
