The Simulation: A Player's Manual is a complete guide to the session you are currently running. It covers the ten rules that govern all player behavior whether the player knows them or not. The six failure states that keep most players resetting without progress. The four status effects determining your reads and decisions right now. The six Ascension Skills that separate players who complete the Simulation from players who spend the session running the character's default programming.

It also covers the Ascension War. The timing is withheld. Everything in this manual is preparation for it.

The scoring system does not accept appeals. The session cannot be paused. The manual exists because the rules don't announce themselves.

They just run.
