From Poland and Dunkirk to Pearl Harbor, Stalingrad and D-Day, history unfolds through an impossible social-media feed where every side claims victory, every setback becomes a "tactical repositioning," old predictions mysteriously disappear, and someone somewhere is always explaining the entire war in sixty seconds.

But beneath the satire lies a more uncomfortable question:

Have our platforms really changed human behaviour-or simply made it faster?

Drawing deliberate echoes with the way modern conflicts are consumed online, the book explores propaganda, misinformation, competing narratives, viral battlefield footage, armchair military experts, political leaders communicating directly with millions, and our tendency to believe information that confirms what we already want to believe.
