Song of the Lamb: The Beautiful and Powerful Art and Message of Revelation

Have you ever sung a song with the lyrics "Worthy is the Lamb"?

Or have you ever sung along to "The Hallelujah Chorus" from Handel's Messiah? If so, congratulations, you have a greater understanding of the book of Revelation than you realize. Revelation has long spoken to us in powerful ways despite the confusion often thought of when trying to pick Revelation apart. The Song of the Lamb tries to focus on how Revelation is speaking a powerful message that anyone can appreciate. It tries to encourage us all to not hesitate to jump into the book and read the finale to our Bible.

Revelation also most certainly has an incredible, and shocking, amount of depth for those who dig into this brilliant work of art. This book will both focus on broad and clear take-aways from Revelation while also digging into the boundless depths of the words of this prophecy.

This book will get into the central characteristic of Revelation that the whole of this prophecy is very much about the Church's interactions with the world around us to each reader in our very specific circumstances.

Revelation as a work of art is a mosaic, it is start to finish one continuous stream of images from the Old Testament, the world around the original audience, and even us in the present.

The Song of the Lamb digs into the message Jesus gives for all with ears to hear. This is the message of how "The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ!" It is the message of the Church's role in this age of the rising Morning Star, and it is the message of how being a faithful witness in extreme tribulation is the means of proclaiming "an eternal gospel to all nations, tribes, tongues, and peoples," the means of bringing in the Son of Man's Kingdom, and the brothers and sisters conquer Satan "by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death," because, "these follow the Lamb wherever He goes."
