When on the journey of writing my first book, Train of Thought: Stories from On and Off the Rails, I communicated with several people on the Internet: authors, editors, and others in the business. I eventually met with a couple published authors for advice, and one gave me advice that I will never forget: "If you're afraid to write it? Write it." At times, some of my family, friends, past coworkers, and many others (including myself) wish I had never received that advice.
It's a catch-22. I was afraid to write it, but now it is written: Tales from the Rails. Hi Yah!
