Jack Falcon and the Black Lotus League

Jack Falcon and the Black Lotus League
A 1947 Jack Falcon Thriller

Hong Kong, 1947. The war is over, but the shadows it cast have only grown darker.

When MI6 operative Jack Falcon is dispatched to the Far East, he expects black markets, corruption, and the usual post-war chaos. Instead, he finds something far deadlier: Black Lotus-a new synthetic opiate sweeping the ports of Asia. Born not from poppies but from stolen Japanese wartime research, the drug is potent, addictive, and lethal. And the profits are funding the assassination of Allied officers across the Pacific.

Falcon goes undercover on the Hong Kong waterfront, slipping into a city of neon-lit alleys, bamboo-junk smuggling routes, and typhoon-soaked rooftops where loyalty lasts only as long as the next payoff. His search draws him into the crosshairs of General Wu, a former Kuomintang warlord building a private army-and into the orbit of Mei Lian, a nightclub singer with chrysanthemum eyes and dangerous secrets of her own.

But the true mastermind is a ghost:
The Lotusmaker, a brilliant chemist hidden beneath the mountains in a secret laboratory where Black Lotus is refined, enhanced, and weaponized.

As Falcon races to stop a shipment large enough to destabilize Asia, he uncovers betrayal inside MI6 itself-forcing him into a deadly maze of double-crosses, rooftop chases in a typhoon, explosive battles in secret harbours, and a final confrontation aboard a burning junk slipping beneath storm-black waters.

Fast-paced, atmospheric, and steeped in post-war intrigue, Jack Falcon and the Black Lotus League delivers a gripping tale of espionage, loyalty, sacrifice, and the haunting cost of duty.
