Voices of the Red Dragon
A Poetic Witness to Welsh Women Across Time

Across the mountains, valleys, and blood-soaked history of Wales, their voices have never truly been silenced.

Voices of the Red Dragon is a haunting and powerful collection of poetry that calls forth the spirits of Welsh women across generations - from those who endured loss and hardship, to those who carried language, culture, and identity in quiet defiance. These are the women history often forgets, yet whose strength shaped a nation.

Through lyrical, soul-stirring verse, Lisa Recke weaves together themes of ancestral memory, grief, resilience, and feminine power. Each poem becomes an invocation - a remembering - a sacred act of giving voice back to those who came before.

This is more than a poetry collection.
It is a reclamation.
A mourning.
A rising.

The Red Dragon does not sleep.
She remembers - and now, so will you.
