Unbecoming

The disruption. The Tower fell. Your old life crumbled, and you sat in the rubble, facing the lies, meeting the ghosts, taking inventory of your soul. That was Book One. That was the beginning.

The descent. You went into the darkness. You met your wounded child, your unprocessed grief, your forbidden anger, your buried shame, your hidden fear. You let go of the rope. You cracked open. You found gifts in the depths. That was Book Two. That was the hard part.

The awakening. You came into the light. You saw clearly for the first time. You met the real you-your gifts, your desires, your truth. You started to trust yourself, to listen to your body, to follow your yes and your no. You began to let your life match who you really are. That was Book Three. That was the beautiful part.
