Memoirs of a Little Black Girl Part Three

This book is the 3rd installment of the Little Black Girl series. In this one, she is venturing into other avenues during her formative years and allowing us to have a chance to see what really makes us tick in terms of family, friends, and community, and how we view life through our own eyes as well as others'. Her sense of self and the people around her give some knowledge of what the world is supposed to look like. It's not until she branches out and finds meaning for herself that she finds that everything is not like it seems and life isn't always peaches and cream.
