War, Refuge and Hope

A young girl's world shattered completely when war reached her home in Ukraine. It left her with nothing but a broken wooden lantern and the memory of her grandfather. She was taken to England for safety. Now, Oksana must learn to live with loss, silence and a new country that feels both kind and strange.

Through friendship, art and small acts of care, she slowly finds her voice again and discovers that hope does not just disappear.

This story is about Oksana's journey and how even the smallest act of kindness can guide us through the darkest times.
