Guardians of the Thorns

Grief is not the danger. What someone builds from it is.

The Garden summons the Guardians with a warning: Do not let grief become a door.

Ten ancient wounds mark the roots of the living cedar. Nine sacred thorns have been scattered among museums, archives, and private collections. The tenth remains sealed where no human hand was ever meant to reach it.

Now Julian Bell, a respected philanthropist with access to governments, institutions, and public trust, is gathering the relics to rebuild a crown capable of turning human suffering into dominion.

From a breached archive in Baghdad to hidden reliquaries across Europe and a public vigil in Paris, Elizabeth and the Guardians race to stop him. But Bell fights with more than violence. He reshapes truth, turns mercy into guilt, and makes the world see the Guardians as the threat.

When the trap closes around one of their own, they must resist the most dangerous temptation of all: using the power they oppose to avenge what has been taken from them.

Guardians of the Thorns is a supernatural archaeological thriller of sacred history, global conspiracy, grief, and the dangerous line between witnessing pain and ruling through it.
