Most books tell you where to start. This one doesn't. Begin Where You Are has eight chapters, and you can open to any one of them first. Feeling stuck? Start with Survival Identities. Need to laugh before you cry? Start with Dance Like You Mean It. Not sure what you need? Start wherever the book falls open. You don't have to have your life together before you're allowed to begin, so why should the book make you wait either. Inside, you'll find the night I stopped running from my own reflection. My three-year-old having a full meltdown over the wrong color cup, and me realizing, quietly, I do this too, I just hide it better. There are pages that are just art, meant to be sat with, not read.
